What is Google Adsense and why should you use?

Adsense is the primary source of Income for many Bloggers and there is no limit on How much you earn with Adsense. It is one of the oldest networks to offer ad publishing and works at Pay Per Click system and also it will pay on time without compromising about the type of the blog you monetize and the thing is the blog should comply with Adsense policy.

Things to Do Before Applying to Google Adsense:

Here I will tell you what are the things that what you have to do before applying to Google Adsense to monetize your website.

1. Pages like Privacy Policy, About, Contact Us:

Many of the newbie bloggers might think that without these pages also they can get Adsense approval very easily, but it is wrong and I'll tell you what is the use of these pages in detail.

Privacy Policy page will actually describes your blog readers that what kind of information that they will get on your site and what are things they should do and they should not. If you cant create a privacy policy for your site there are many privacy policy generators available online.

About Page plays a major role for you to get an Adsense approval very easy. But instead of being anonymous, you can give the detailed information regarding you and your blog and what type of audience you are targeting and also make them trust upon you.

Contact Us Page will help you in a way that you are telling to google that we care for our customers and visitors and we are ready to help them.

2. Name/Email Verification:

When you apply don’t forget to put your Name and Email address in some easily visible area like About Me and Contact Us pages. It will confirm to the Adsense Team that it is the same person who applied for Adsense and not by others. This will help the Google in the verification process.

3. Age Verification:

This is the mistake that most younger blogger are making who are less than 18. They write incorrect age and get into trouble. Use your correct date of birth and age, while applying for a Google Adsense account. Because Google Adsense is not for people who are under 18. Some people realize this problem after being disproved a few times without any legitimate reason. So I advise you to be accurate while typing your age.

4. Minimum Number of Posts:

This is the question many number of newbie bloggers will ask. Try to write 10 to 15 posts without copy content and it should be at least 350 words per article. But as of my experience in one of my technology site I wrote only 9 articles and applied for Adsense and got approved within one day. But be sure that those articles should be indexed by Google before applying for Adsense. You can quickly index your articles by submitting url to google. So that google will estimate that what kind of blog you want to monetize whether it is related to niche, tech, education, insurance etc.,

5. Design of the Blog:

The Design of the blog should be simple to get Adsense approval easily, each and every icon in the blog should work properly & it should be responsive. My suggestion is that use simple and responsive themes until Adsense approval, after that you can change as you like.

6. Type of the Content:

Be careful with what type of content you are publishing. Because it is something that truly matters. Google Adsense is not for pornographic, pirated content, illegal items, drugs or other blogs/Sites like that. There should not be copied content on the blog that you are applying for Adsense.

7. Top Level Domain:

The Adsense approval is somewhat tough for blogspot blogs and wordpress.com blogs now a days. Take a top level domain that suits for your content and apply for that. Minor things should not be missed anywhere.

Try to apply for Adsense with a minimum domain age of one month.

8. Other Ad Networks:

If you have other Ads that are placed on your website, remove that Ads when you are applying for Adsense. Even Google Adsense allows you to use other Ad Networks along with them, but it’s better to remove the ads before Applying and don’t put them back until you get a reply from Adsense Team.

Points to Remember:

Don't apply with your regular email id because if it is not approved there are less chances to getting approval again when you applied.

After your Adsense got approved, you can change everything i.e., email id, address, phone number except publisher id.

What to do if Adsense is not getting approved?

Try to follow above steps clearly, if you really didn't get approval there are many trusted and high paying ad networks you can use to monetize your blog and they are not hard as Google Adsense in terms of getting approval. You can use affiliate marketing too...
